Local Efforts for Data

RAID team

The Research, Analytics, Informatics and Data (RAID) program is the public health science unit inside the Department of Health and Human Services. Epidemiologists in this program work closely with our medicolegal death investigators (i.e., medical examiners) to provide surveillance on drug overdose deaths.

Additionally, RAID analyzes prescription drug monitoring program prescribing data, Emergency Medical Services data related to survived overdoses, syndromic surveillance and hospital discharge data to help characterize the burden of opioid misuse in our community.

For more information about RAID's work, contact Dr. Kimberly Repp.
