On behalf of Multnomah County Mental Health and Addiction Services Division, I warmly invite you to join us for an African American Town Hall on Feb. 7, 2019 10 am - 2 pm.
Our goal for this event is to talk about mental health and addictions, and learn from the African American community about experiences and suggestions for our behavioral health system. We welcome all consumers, community members and providers to attend and participate in this important conversation.
There will be presentations about getting help for mental health and addictions, including a story of recovery and a message of hope. Everyone will have an opportunity to participate in facilitated conversations to share their experiences and ideas for our system of care.
Please join us for this free event. Lunch and child care will be provided. Registration is not strictly required, but it will help us to know who is coming in order to provide enough food and child care.
We look forward to seeing you there.
